  • How can I pay?

The easiest way is to pay online via PayPal. Just head to the ordering page and click on the button for the type of order you want to place (US, Canada, or Overseas). Each will take you to an ordering page. No credit card? That's okay — PayPal also allows you to pay from your checking account. And it's more secure than writing a check at your local supermarket where anyone might get hold of your check and see your personal information. With PayPal, even I don't see your payment info. Their server is very secure.

Via snail mail, I accept Money Orders, Traveller's Checks, and Cashier's Checks. I do not accept personal checks. (This is where paying from your checking account via PayPal will come in handy.)

You can send cash if you're brave. I actually haven't had any problems receiving cash so far, but you can never tell, so if you want to send cash, fold it in a page from a magazine to help disguise it.

  • PayPal makes me nervous. What if my credit card or checking account numbers get stolen?

You are in more danger of the cashier at your local restaurant stealing your credit card information than by hackers managing to get it from PayPal's secure server. Their system is very secure. Even I don't see your payment info.

  • Why don't you accept personal checks?

I'm afraid I've been burned by bounced checks in the past. I found out the hard way that the bank charges me a pretty good-sized chunk of change for each returned check. One person's bounced check cost me $38.00 bucks. And that's just ONE check! I simply can't risk any more.

  • I live outside the US.  How do I pay in US funds?

I suggest paying online using your credit card. That's the easiest and most painless way to go.

If you want to mail your order, go to your local bank, tell them what you are trying to do (ordering something by mail with payment in US dollars) and they will be able to help you with everything you need. Western Union can help as well.

  • I don't have a credit card or checking account. When should I send my money to make sure I don't miss the deadline?

If you absolutely must snail mail your order, you'll need to get your order in the mail at least a week before the deadline.

For overseas folks, I recommend getting your order in the mail immediatelly. If you're concerned, I suggest you use the online credit card payment option.

  • Where should I mail my order?

If you need to snail mail your order, contact me via e-mail and I'll send you an instruction file.

  • What happens if my payment arrives after the deadline?

Your payment will be returned to you. The deadlines for this project are absolute. So don't put it off.

  • Is there tax?

    Nope.  Tax is already included.

  • Is there shipping and handling?

Yes. Shipping and handling is $3.50 for US orders, $7.00 for Canadian orders, and $9.00 for Overseas orders.

The S&H will be automatically calculated for you if you use the online credit card payment option. Otherwise, I will send you an e-mail confirmation with the total amount when I send you the snail mail address for ordering.

  • Will the shirts shrink in the wash?

No. They are high-quality 100% cotton shirts that have been pre-washed and pre-shrunk.

These are not cheap, thin, see-through shirts. I won't put my name or designs on crappy shirts. I believe that quality is important. I don't like cheap shirts ... and I don't think you do, either.

If you're really nervous about shrinkage, order the next size up. But check the sizing information first ... a lot of people order larger shirts and discover they really are the size I say they are when they get them.

  • What's the deal with the rush ordering?

The deadline for placing Rush Orders has now passed.

  • Are you going to do these StrangeLittleToriphile shirts again some time?

Probably not. This is the only planned production of these particular shirts. So if you want one, this is it.

  • How come you need to make money?

Running all the lists and keeping the domain name registered and the site hosted costs a lot of money. A heck of a lot of money. I am on a very low income and must devise ways to help pay for the server space. Rather than ask for donations outright (which makes me feel guilty), I prefer to offer folks something nice for their time and effort and to show that I appreciate their support of the work I do as a member of the online Tori community.
